We met when the time was right.

Not when life was easy, but when we were both ready. I was healing. I carried heartbreak, but also clarity.

Fernando met me right where I was, with patience and perseverance. He didn't try to fix what he hadn't broken. On the contrary, the parts of me that he had never damaged were rebuilt.

With him, love feels stable. He gives me security. Fernando is a place where I can rest, breathe, and be completely myself.

And I offer him the same. With me, Fernando can be exactly who he is, without armor or expectations. My heart is his home.

We are purpose-driven educators. We deeply believe in our students, in access, and in providing caring support. Our shared commitment to teaching and supporting one another is part of what brought us together so naturally. We understand each other's work because we approach it with intention and are teachers with heart.

This is my first wedding, and our timing is perfect. Not rushed. Not pressured, but chosen with clarity.
